These terms apply to your use of nordlytewebstudio.com (the "site"), which is operated by Nordlyte Web Studio ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About the site and our services

The site describes our web design, development, SEO, maintenance and related services. Nothing on the site is a binding offer. We provide services to clients under a written quote or agreement that we send you and that you accept. If that quote or agreement conflicts with these terms, the quote or agreement applies to the project.

Quotes and payment

Quotes are based on the information you give us and are valid for the period stated in the quote. Unless your quote says otherwise, projects start with a 50% deposit and the remaining 50% is due on completion, before launch. Monthly services such as maintenance are billed as stated in their plan. Domain and hosting fees are paid directly to the provider unless agreed otherwise.

Your responsibilities

You agree to give us accurate information, the content and materials we need on time, and to have the right to use any text, images, logos or other material you supply. Delays in providing material can affect timelines.

Intellectual property

The site, its design, text and graphics belong to Nordlyte Web Studio or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Ownership of work we create for a client is set out in that client's quote or agreement.

Using the site

Do not misuse the site: do not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, send spam through the contact form, or use it for anything unlawful.

Results and performance figures

Speed scores and similar figures on the site were measured at a point in time using public tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, and results can vary by device, network and time. We do not guarantee any particular search ranking, traffic, sales or performance score for a client's site.

Third-party links

The site links to services we do not control, such as Calendly, WhatsApp, Google and social media. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimer and liability

The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for anything arising from the site is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you mandatory rights to bring a claim elsewhere.
